Der CRJ-1000 ist mit einer Länge von 39,13 Metern ein wahres Riesenflugzeug. Es ist beeindruckend, ein so grosses Flugzeug auf einer Piste manövrieren zu sehen, die nur 30 Meter breit und 1730 Meter lang ist. Aber keine Sorge, die Verbreiterung am Ende der Landebahn ermöglicht ein sicheres Wenden. Es ist eines der grössten Flugzeuge, die auf dem Flughafen Bern operieren.
